Recurrent Miscarriage
Women with a history of two or more consecutive miscarriages are classified as recurrent. Miscarriage can be caused by fetal genetic abnormalities, uterine anomalies, uterine fibroids and/or hormonal imbalances. Diabetes and other medical conditions may also have roles.
When you schedule your consultation, our physicians will do a complete review of your medical history and perform a physical exam. There are also a variety of tests used to help determine a specific reason for your recurring miscarriages. Depending on the results, treatment could include various medications or surgery.
