Complex IVF Cases

We specialize in treating complex cases of infertility. One of the first tests performed by a fertility center is to measure a woman’s levels of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). Generally, a level of 12 or higher is seen as a sign that many of the eggs within the ovaries may be of suboptimal quality. A high number of our patients with high FSH levels have been turned away from other clinics. Some have even experienced unsuccessful in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles elsewhere or were told that they were not candidates for IVF.

We consider a case complex when prior fertilization results have proven to be below standard or the quality of resultant embryos is poor. The latter may result from a multitude of factors including polycystic ovarian syndrome or advanced maternal age and may cause the embryos to have increased fragmentation, slow development and low cell count. Cases with previous multiple-cycle failures are also considered complex.

If you believe you are a complex case, please contact us to schedule a consultation. We can review your records and the results of any prior testing to help determine your best course of action.
