Dr. Jamie Grifo Appears on the Joy Behar Show to Discuss Babies After 40

In light of the recent announcement by John Travolta and Kelly Preston that they are expecting a baby, Dr. Jamie Grifo spoke with Joy Behar about pregnancy after the age of 40. They were joined by Dr. Laura Markham and Joan Lunden to discuss why women are waiting longer to start having children and the possible risks associated with an advanced maternal age. "Sociology and biology have diverged at age 39 and over," said Dr. Grifo. "We are much more capable to be parents at an age when women are much less capable of getting pregnant and that's the problem."
