Robert Edwards Wins the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for Pioneering In Vitro Fertilization

NYU Fertility Center congratulates Robert Edwards on winning the 2010 Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology. His work on in vitro fertilization resulted in the birth of Louise Brown in 1978, the first test-tube baby, and has led to over 4 million births worldwide since then.
