Dr. Jamie Grifo Featured in Article on Fertility Options for People with Cancer

Hope in the Freezer: Fertility Options for People with Cancer is a feature article in the Spring/Summer 2011 NYU Cancer Institute newsletter. The article focuses on how it is possible for sperm and eggs to be frozen before beginning cancer treatments. By doing so, men and women are able to preserve their fertility to become not only cancer survivors, but parents too.
"If you're cured of cancer but left infertile and you desire children, you're not completely healed," said Dr. Jamie Grifo, Director of the NYU Fertility Center.
