Dr. Jamie A. Grifo comments in this Associated Press article exploring the odds of in vitro fertilization for couples trying to conceive. Dr. Grifo shared that IVF success rates have risen from about 10 percent about 15 years ago to about 25 percent for most infertile couples these days. He also added that for healthy women under 40, the rate can be as high as 50 percent.
