Alexis Adler, BS

Alexis Adler is one of the two Supervisors of the Embryology Laboratory at NYU Fertility Center. Ms. Adler has been with the NYU team since 1995. She leads a highly skilled team of embryologists and oversees all functions of the embryology laboratory. Her clinical experience in reproductive medicine began in 1987 at Cornell University helping to establish the laboratory as part of that premier program and then as a senior member of the embryology laboratory at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science at Saint Barnabas Medical Center before joining NYU. She has also consulted at many programs throughout the United States, China, Taiwan, Israel, South Africa, and Belgium. Ms. Adler has been invited to teach micromanipulation techniques, such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and embryo biopsy, at international workshops. Her research in clinical embryology has resulted in numerous abstracts and papers and she has lectured nationally and internationally on her findings.

Ms. Adler received her Bachelors of Science degree from Barnard College, Columbia University. She has served as chair of the New York Metropolitan Embryologist Society and is currently on the board, serving as the chairperson of the Reproductive Laboratory Technologists Professional Group at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She also is a member of Alpha - Scientists in Reproductive Medicine and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
