Newborn Screenings Now Required Across U.S.

A Healthday news article on Forbes.com examines the topic of newborn screenings in the United States. Right now all states mandate at least 21 tests, but the American College of Medical Genetics recommends 29 tests for all newborns. Dr. Jamie Grifo contributes, ""Any time you can proactively identify a problem and treat it, you can avoid a lot of complications and lifelong consequences."
