Why I Froze My Eggs - Dr. Nicole Noyes Contributes to Newsweek Article on Egg Freezing
May 02, 2009
A 2009 study completed by Dr. Nicole Noyes at the NYU School of Medicine and doctors at the University of Bologna, in Italy, revealed that 936 babies have now been born from frozen eggs worldwide-and genetic anomalies were no different from those occurring in naturally conceived babies. For the article, Why I Froze My Eggs, Rachel Lehmann-Haupt met with Dr. Nicole Noyes, an endocrinologist and ob-gyn at NYU Fertility Center, in order to learn about her own fertility so she could make an informed choice about egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation).
