As technology in the field of reproductive endocrinology advances, more women are turning to egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation) as a means of electively deferring reproduction. Dr. Jamie Grifo contributed to an article for Forbes Woman that discusses how egg freezing can help women focus on their careers while providing them with insurance for parenthood at a later time.
